Dr Arthur Anekwe General Practitioner

MB;BS, FRCOG (London), MRCGP (London), FRACGP

Dr Arthur Anekwe is an experienced UK-trained GP with over 25 years of medical practice across the United Kingdom and Australia. Originally trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK, he obtained Membership and Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (London) before later completing training in General Practice, becoming a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (London).

He relocated to Australia in 2012 and has since been practising in Queensland, where he is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

He also had training in skin cancer surgeries obtaining Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgeries.

With a unique background combining specialist women’s health training and extensive experience in general practice, Dr Anekwe provides comprehensive, patient-centred care across all areas of family medicine with particular clinical interests in:

  • Skin cancer medicine and surgery
  • Men’s health
  • Women’s health
  • Children’s health
  • Family planning and long-acting contraceptive procedures including Mirena and Implanon insertions and removals.

Outside medicine, he enjoys running and outdoors and watching soccer other athletic events.

Dr Oksana Myroniuk General Practitioner

Dr Oksana Myroniuk has an interest in all aspects of general medicine including women’s health, skin care, travel medicine and preventative medicine. Dr Oksana has special interests in managing chronic disease conditions such as diabetes, asthma and obesity.

Dr Paul Jordan General Practitioner

Dr Paul Jordan was a critical care paramedic before returning to study. He graduated in medicine with a MBBS in 2018. Dr Jordan was born in Queensland and spent 17 years in the Australian Defence Force. His special interests include geriatric medicine, Veterans medicine, men’s health, and palliative care. Outside of medicine, Dr Jordan enjoys the outdoors and surfing.

Dr Neil De Silva General Practitioner

Dr Neil De Silva has worked as a GP in rural Queensland and as an out of hours GP for the past 4 years. Prior to that, he worked for Queensland Health in specialities such as emergency medicine, mental health, women’s health.

Before moving to Australia, Dr De Silva worked in the UK in emergency medicine. He has worked in Sri Lanka in fields of paediatrics and intensive care medicine. He is interested in all aspects of general medicine.

Dr Jacelyn Yeo General Practitioner

Dr Jacelyn Yeo graduated from The University of Queensland in 2014 and for the past 4 years has worked in Queensland Health in rehabilitation medicine. She has special interests in child health, women’s health, palliative care, geriatric medicine and chronic disease management.

Dr Sujatha Vanguru General Practitioner

Dr Sujatha has over 10 years of experience in General Practice, Acute care, Dermatology, Family Medicine and Geriatrics.

After graduating from Medical School in India, Dr Sujatha moved to Texas, USA; completed USMLE requirements and practiced in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. Dr Sujatha migrated to Australia in 2013. She worked as an Academic Teacher at University of Queensland’s School of Medicine, completed her training in Skin Cancer and has been practicing as a General Practitioner in Sunshine coast. She enjoys all aspects of General practice and is committed to constantly update her skills as medicine always evolves.

Dr Sujatha always puts her patients first and believes in holistic approach to health. Dr Sujatha is married and has two children. If not working, she is cooking for her family, gardening or enjoying outdoors.

Dr Ilaria Pignatelli General Practitioner

Dr Ilaria Pignatelli is UK-trained, graduating from Cardiff University in 2016. She is passionate about patient-centred care. She has a diploma in Sports Medicine and is currently completing a certificate in peri-operative medicine. She enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine and with a special interests are in cancer care, chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma, COPD, heart disease) and weight-management.

Dr Suni Gorentala General Practitioner

Sunitha was born in India and moved to Australia in 2007. It was her childhood dream to become a doctor; as she was inspired by the doctors in her local community. Suni graduated with her MBBS in 2006. When Suni is not at work she enjoys time with her family and taking time out for yoga and playing badminton.
